Ooze-festation

Ooze-festation is a LAN multiplayer battle royale! Each player starts off as a slime of a random element. You must go around the level and attack fellow players. The catch? Your ability to attack is solely based on both your and their current element! Your goal? Be the last one standing!

I have worked on implementing a networking system utilizing UNET allowing players to automatically speak out a started server through broadcast messages. Please view this project on Github.

The idea behind Slime Game began with wanting to create a networked multiplayer game in Unity. We based the creation on this game solely on the skillsets each person in our team wanted to provide in their portfolio. After our original discussion we knew we wanted the game to have monsters and we knew we wanted it to be networked in some way. Thus, Slime Game was born!

We ran into many challenges when working on this game. In the end, we were able to come up with a finished product, which included a multiplayer game that ran with up to four players. Each player plays a slime and in a rock-paper-scissors style battle royale, they pick up different potions in order to change their slimes core element and defeat other slimes! The last slime standing wins!
